An update:
Chocolate.....none still....I did break down and buy some iced sugar cookies at the store. They seem to have halted the sweet tooth.
Chips....none still....However, we were at Costco and James put the big bag of Cape Cod chips in the cart. Shocked, I said "What are you doing?" to which he replied "Buying it for your Easter basket." Apparently he has been reading my blog ;) But buying it 2 weeks early so it can sit in our pantry....Maybe not the best idea he has ever had.
Flossing....has been a major FAIL....I really need to get back on it. I have been doing it, just not consistently every day.
As for James....He gave up pork....and guess what I bought at the store for dinners this week.....a pork loin (it was on sale) and ground beef and pork for spaghetti sauce. I was not thinking....Guess that was my way of paying him back. The sauce will be made in 2 batches, one with and one without. We'll eat the one without and freeze the one with. The pork loin will go in the freezer until after Easter.
And I finally made it to church....First sunday of Lent I have been in church. Too much travel!
a thirty something living and working back in the US. Hosting visitors on their way somewhere else.

4th Sunday of Lent
Just checking in quickly to let you know how I am doing....
Chips....none.....I've kept the craving at bay, at least for now!
Chocolate....a little craving and even considered treating myself since I haven't been eating much because of illness (more on that later)...but don't worry, I have not had any yet.
Flossing ... skipped 2 more days due to illness, but otherwise still on track.
Only 2 more weeks....I am hoping for an Easter basket filled with Cape Cod chips (YUM!) and maybe a hint or two of chocolate.
Hope you've had a great weekend!!

3rd Sunday of Lent
Still tracking my progress....
No chips....I made popcorn when the craving got to be too much. We made salsa and guac on Saturday and I even refrained from chips then...dang this is hard. Though I did taste the guacamole...on melba toast. I know it doesn't sound great, but actually it wasn't too bad....
No chocolate...the craving really isn't that bad. Craving chips much more
Flossing...I missed 2 days because of travel. One because I drove until midnight and forgot when I crashed. Two because we were in the air and sticking my hands in my mouth did not sound good since I couldn't be sure I got the plane germs off. But flossed as soon as we landed. So back on track.

DG Love
Stained Glass window at Delta Gamma EO
(Picture taken during my visit there last summer)
Nothing like a weekend filled with Delta Gamma women to put a smile on your face and fond memories in your heart!
I currently serve as an advisor of sorts for 6 chapters in the southeast region. This weekend I conducted an officer training with the officers of all 6 chapters. The training was hosted by the woman of Delta Gamma at LSU. The women of LSU were such lovely hostesses! It was a quick but great weekend! Thank you ladies!
And to the other DG women I know and occasionally read this blog....love to you sisters! I miss you!!
Added note: Today is NPC Badge Day! Sorority women everywhere will be wearing their badges to celebrate! (The logo is from the www.npcwomen.org website)
(I have 2 great stories/blogs regarding my trip that I will post later!)
