See I told you it was growing!! There is a little bit of mint growing in the back, but most of what you see is my basil! Next year, I think I will venture into some other herbs and maybe a couple vegetables. All in pots though. Any tips, tricks? Favorites?
I have been trying to incorporate basil into at least 2 meals a week to use it up. (I'm back to meal planning - August goals and some meal plans next week). I've used it for pizza and pesto so far. Going to do chicken parm tonight and make some caprese style sandwiches for my tennis match on Sunday. So, I'm doing pretty good with basil ideas. But I need some help with the mint. I know the obvious mojitos and mint juleps (too bad derby has already come and gone). But what about food recipes? Any ideas? I'll post about your recipe if I use it! (I know that's really enticing when I only have about 10 readers anyway, but still I'll be nice!)
