Tennis & Rain

We are T2 Division winners! YEAH!! We won our first playoff match (after much scheduling drama due to rain last Thursday). We are scheduled to play again tonight....and its raining and supposed to off and on the rest of the day...looks like we'll be forfeiting. My partner leaves on vacation tomorrow and I leave Saturday. We knew we wouldn't make it to City anyway....But we'redefinitley happy with the season!

I was tagged awhile ago by A Place to Dwell to name seven awesome things about myself....It took me awhile to post, but here is my best shot:

1 - I chose the perfect life partner in my hubby (i could have just said I had an awesome hubby, that really isn't about me, now is it!)

2 - I speak italian (or at least I used to...just a little practice could bring it right back...trip anyone?!?!)

3 - I get to work from the comfort of my home (thanks Ashland)

4 - I have a great relationship with my mom (she's awesome, too!)

5 - I volunteer with DG

6 - I make the best chocolate chip cookies, or at least that's what i hear

7 - I'm a decent cook overall

Laundry Bitch

I kicked the laundry pile's ASS today.....I folded about 4 loads of completed laundry...but I didn't like it...not sure how I got nominated Laundry Bitch, but it sucks.

Happy Monday

We had a nice weekend here....Listened to music and ate takeout on Friday. Slept until 9 on Saturday, even James slept in, which is a rarity...Pool was finally open, so we spent the day there. I was good...used plenty of sunscreen and did not get burnt. (Pool was opened, but the water was looking pretty nasty) We took what is becoming my "famous" guac and chips to the pool and snacked and drank beer...then cooked out in the evening...It was a great kickoff to summer weekends at the pool!!! Sunday was off to church and the Church Annual Picnic....it was nice, but HOT! After taking a nap and watching tennis (oh my gosh did you see the NADAL match...WOW!) we went and played tennis ourselves...nice relaxing weekend!!

Now its Monday and back to work..booo!! Only 12 more days til the beach trip for me!!! YEA! Bahamas here we come!
