Politics - Not really

(photo from www.thehollywoodgossip.com)
Jenny Sanford was granted a divorce today.  I don't really like to get into politics on this here blog of mine, but I thought this warranted a comment.  Jenny Sanford has been strong in light of her recent personal struggles.  While it is personal and something that I think most of us would not in public if it happened to us, I believe Jenny has set a wonderful example of sticking to your beliefs in tough times.  She wanted to make it work, but in the end kept true to herself.

I think the way Jenny Sanford has handled the situation is admirable.

I think Jenny's handling of the situation has been admirable, as well. I'm glad the wife of a politician finally had the courage to not stand by her husband in the wake of a scandal. She gets mixed reviews here in SC- some saying she's been courageous and classy through the whole thing, others saying she's just looking for the limelight by authoring a book and doing segments on TV. I think she handled it well, though. And Mark Sanford is as crazy as a bedbug!

I blogged about her the other day! I recently finished her autobiography and I have found that I really like her. Thank God she didn't stand by him through this like some other political wives have in the past. She is working hard to raise virtuous sons and I hope she and the boys are able to heal and live good lives. And, yes, he's crazy as a loon.

This is from the local bookstore in the town I grew up and the town where I go to a few days a week.

This is a hometown girl coming home but holding her head up high.
She is an amazingly stong woman with what is supposed to be private taking place in a public manner.
